new Delhi. Hero MotoCorp has launched its Fair 200cc offering Xtreme 200S in BSVI avatar. The price of the motorcycle has now been kept at 1.15 lakh rupees (x show room). Which is close to Rs 17,000 more premium than its predecessor bike. No changes have been seen in its design. However, Hero has added a new color named Pearl Fadless White.

The company is offering a Complimentary Road Side Assistance (RSA), which is valid for one year. It offers RSA on-call support, on-the-spot repair, fuel delivery and flat tires in case of fuel exhaust for the nearest Hero workshop. Apart from this, battery jump start, accidental assistant is also present. The BSVI of the Hero Xtreme 200S is still a 200cc single cylinder unit. However, this time Hero has made it oil-cooled instead of the earlier air-cooled unit.

Power and torque ratings are 17.8PS at 8,500rpm and 16.4 Nm at 6,500rpm. Both BSIV numbers are lower than 18.4PS at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm. Apart from the oil cooler, the presence of Cat-Con in the exhaust has been said to have reduced the weight of the vehicle, which now suggests a scale of 154.5kg.

At the launch, Naveen Chauhan, Head of Sales and Aftersales of Hero MotoCorp said that the new Xtreme 200S shows our focus approach to the premium segment. Our premium products like the Xtreme 160R and XPulse 200 BS-VI are receiving huge support from customers. I am confident that the Xtreme 200S will make it a success. The Hero Xtreme 200S has a 5-speed transmission and a maximum power of 18.80ps. Torque is 16.45 Nm. No information has been revealed about its mileage. Talking about X show room price, it is Rs 115714.
